Editing a Person in Record Editor

For quick access to basic elements of the record use buttons "Name...", "Gender...", "Birth & Death", "Note..." and "Links...".

Buttons "Add to Family as:... " call edit dialogs with the list of all families in the tree and the given person will be added as the spouse or the child to the chosen family. If the spouse of the same gender already exists in this family then he/she will be replaced, not added.

After pressing "OK" button the Editor checks existence of the name, surname and dates of life and if all of these elements do not exist, does not allow to create such person.
Note: If the surname is not specified, in the person's full name (like "N.J.Smith" or "Smith, Nicolas John") the surname will be shown as "unknown".
