How to select persons and families

Strictly speaking, a family can not be selected - it is possible to select only all its members. In the List of families, for example, it is possible to choose family, and then select all its members, pressing the button "Select: ...".

Relatives are selected with the mouse: press the left mouse button in an area free from persons' frames and drag (holding the mouse button pressed) on a diagonal. All persons who have got in the formed rectangle, will be selected - their frames will become red.

To add persons to or to exclude them from the selection is possible with Shift key - hold it pressed and select again a group of persons (or click on the frame of one person) and these persons will be added to the selection or excluded from it depending on whether they have been already selected or not.
