Menu "File" - "Export to:" - "GEDCOM 5.5 file"

Exports the file to GEDCOM 5.5 format. Before export the program checks if the file header has two obligatory (according to GEDCOM standard) elements: Charset (tag CHAR) and the Submitter (tag SUBM). If they are not present, the program will ask to create them.

The charset from the Header will be used to define encoding of the exported file.

All graphic information for the tree is saved in the file. If this file is imported again the tree will be shown in the view in which it was saved.
